ABOUT

That’s me fending off a vicious attack goose. 🙂

Hi! I’m Ron. We are a husband and wife team that have been working together for more years than we care to mention.  I’m the photographer and my wife, Maryann, is a creative spirit and  consultant. She’s pretty crafty and a lot of our ‘props’ are her creations.

Our combined talents help us to create a fun experience for you in creating  one-of-a-kind portraits that we GUARANTEE  you will LOVE.

Actually the goose’s name was China (not the name we gave her) and I was trying to keep her out of my face. You see, I had raised her since she was 3 days old and she really thought I was her daddy. You can ask me sometime about how I ended up flat on my back holding her off.

I know it sounds corny but I think its important to create a keepsake image of you at this point in your life. You’d be amazed at the memories that flood in with just one single picture. I also know that we all take lots of digital photos with our phones, tablets and keep on our laptops. But the sad part is then they get sent to the digital dungeon and are forgotten. I truly believe that pictures make up the fabric of our lives. Somehow, looking at them triggers memories, good and some not so good sometimes of time gone by.  And my goal is to help you create those triggers of this time in your life that will never come back other than as memories. My goal is also to make those triggers (pictures) unique to you and different than everyone else’s triggers.

High school memories stay with us for life.

How do you want to be remembered?

Left Brain vs. Right Brain

I don’t think we’re either all left-brained or all right-brained. Me personally, I’m an ex left-brained former computer programmer turned creative right-brained photographer. Now I get to exercise my brain creating art (with the camera as my brush) and I happen to enjoy ‘painting’ portraits of people that are a little more creative and inspirational than other ‘photographers’ create. You see, anyone can pick up a digital camera – point it at you and snap the shutter but that doesn’t necessarily make them a photographer.

BTW: I’ve been using a camera photographing the world since I was in collage. Another story you can ask me about is how, when I was in the Air Force, I woke up covered in snow.

Light is the language a photographer uses to tell your story and I’m fluent in it.
